This slide was noted over the weekend. It's on a south facing slope a few miles from Lulu Pass near Sheep Creek. The party who took this picture noted many smaller soft slabs releasing, but this was the largest one they saw.

This slide was triggered south of Cooke City on Mt Republic on an East aspect. I broke 3 feet deep and 30 feet wide. A skier triggered and was caught in this slide but was able to dig into the bed surface and avoind being carried with the debris. Photo: J. Varney

These human triggered slides occurred on a west facing slope in Beehive Basin. Both slides were remotely triggered, indicating very unstable conditions. This area had a shallow and weak snowpack prior to last week's heavy snowfall. This poor structure is having trouble supproting the most recent load. Photo Clark Corey

Skiers near Lightning Cr Trailhead in the Taylor Fork remotely triggered this slide from nearly 100 meters away. Remote triggers are a clear indication the snowpack is unstable and dangerous avalanche conditions exist. Photo Jason Welz
This pit was dug between two avalanches in the Pinnacles south of Bridger Bowl. Although the structure looks terrible, test results indicated a snowpack that's trending toward stability. Photo GNFAC
